IN-HOUSE FOUNDATION INITIATIVE
Taman Negara, at 130 million years old is not only older than the Amazon, it is also the oldest rainforest in the world. It inhabits over a thousand species of birds, mammals, snakes and insects. There are approximately 15,000 plant species in our rainforest of which about 2000 medicinal species are found to have health properties.
Dr Noor Tresor is an outfit founded by Dr Mohd. Noor, a former research scientist at Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). Dr Noor has devoted a lifetime’s worth of research work on our medicinal plants to arrive at natural remedies for various ailments among which the healing of open wounds, lesions and bed sores have proven to be very successful.
